Move Adds 21 Fulfillment Centers, Enhances Tech Stack, and Strengthens Position as a Leader in Consumer Experience Logistics

Stord, a leading commerce enablement and fulfillment technology company, has officially acquired Ware2Go, a UPS subsidiary, in a move that significantly expands its U.S. operations and reinforces its partnership with UPS. The strategic acquisition includes 21 new fulfillment centers and over 2.5 million square feet of operational capacity, solidifying Stord as one of North America’s largest fulfillment networks by volume and reach.

“This acquisition of Ware2Go is a strategic investment that expands our U.S. domestic footprint and capabilities while strengthening our partnership with UPS,” said Sean Henry, CEO and co-founder of Stord.

Founded in 2018, Ware2Go has built a strong reputation in D2C and B2B fulfillment across sectors such as skincare, supplements, beverages, electronics, and more. The company offers direct-to-consumer shipping, retail-compliant B2B logistics, and services like Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP), all supported by a distributed warehouse model and robust order orchestration capabilities.

With the acquisition, Stord plans to deploy its proprietary Warehouse Management System (WMS), Order Management System (OMS), and Customer Experience (CX) technology across Ware2Go’s network. This tech integration will allow brands to expand seamlessly across U.S. markets, with less friction and greater operational efficiency.

The move also bolsters Stord’s reach among SMBs shipping hundreds of orders per month, feeding into its previously launched Accelerator Program. It represents the latest step in Stord’s broader consolidation strategy, following previous acquisitions of Fulfillment Works, ProPack, and Pitney Bowes E-Commerce.

“Ware2Go customers will benefit from Stord’s market-leading scale and reputation, backed by their comprehensive suite of technology-driven solutions,” said Archita Prasad, President at UPS Digital.

In 2024, Stord achieved profitability and powered nearly 1% of all U.S. Black Friday and Cyber Monday online orders. Its growing client roster includes True Classic, AG1, quip, Sundays for Dogs, and Seed Health, among hundreds of other brands.

Today’s announcement follows Stord’s recent Series E funding round, which brought in over $200 million and valued the company at $1.5 billion. While the acquisition of Ware2Go is not directly tied to the funding, it clearly signals the company's aggressive expansion and vision for shaping the future of e-commerce logistics.

With this acquisition, Stord deepens its positioning as The Consumer Experience Company, aiming to provide seamless service from checkout to delivery—regardless of brand size or order volume.
